With mathematics now confirmed as a ‘specific’ area of learning within the revised EYFS framework, this course looks at what this means for practitioners. The EYFS breaks into two areas of mathematical learning. These are ‘Number’ and ‘Space, Shape, and Measure’.
This course will focus on developing excellent space, shape, and measure provision and ensuring that all early years practitioners are fully up to date with the requirements of the EYFS maths curriculum, as well as practical and pedagogical techniques to bring the curriculum to life and ensure rapid and effective learning.
