The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child has been ratified by every country in the world, except for the United States and Somalia. Governments can decide whether they will ratify the Convention, which means that the government in question agrees to make sure that all of these rights are available to children.
This course will ensure that all Early Years staff are fully up to date with the current legislation around the protection of children’s rights. It will also aid staff with practical and curricular ideas to embed a culture of rights and responsibilities in all Early Years practice.
